YouTube also has what is described as Wafa Sultan’s first-ever interview in English, given on Israel national radio. The tone of the interviewer is almost impossible to take. It is the tone of a certain kind of American radio interview: both desultory and sycophantic.
And Wafa Sultan, although she should be praised for communicating so freshly and directly, could have used that occasion – since they were eating out of her hands – to say something sharper to Israel without the risk of sterile confrontation, instead of saying only what this nauseating interviewer wanted to hear.
