July 18 2008

Speech by Al Gore.

Latest on Arctic ice.

___

“I tell you naught for your comfort,
Yea, naught for your desire,
Save that the sky grows darker yet
And the sea rises higher.”

But perhaps lighter should be substituted for darker: quatrain from GK Chesterton’s The Ballad of the White Horse, 1911.
