Chopin was born on February 22 1810 according to his baptismal certificate, but he gave the date as March 1.

    The forms Chopin used more than once were these and these only: ballade, concerto, étude, fantasy, impromptu, mazurka, nocturne, polonaise, prelude, rondo, scherzo, sonata, song, variation, waltz. Not one work, in any form, without piano.
