My apologies for not crediting the orchestra.

    Performed by Cincinnati Pops Orchestra
    with William Harrod, Philip Collins
    Conducted by Erich Kunzel

Although it’s sometimes safer not to on YouTube. I thought it might be Kunzel. Thank you.

I’m performing Quiet City in a concert on August 8th, and we’ll be projecting the video on a screen above the stage as we play (minus the audio, of course). I thought the photos were an excellent way to engage the audience, and I posted this so my fellow performers could see what I was proposing.

You say on your channel that the piece was written for a 1939 documentary film called The City. But a Wikipedia article says that it comes from music he wrote for a 1939 play called Quiet City by Irwin Shaw. Have you been able to work out which came first?

That’s actually a link to another Quiet City video. I did not write the text.
